Biography
| |
 |
Ryan Briscoe returns to the IndyCar Series after a two-year hiatus in which he's proven to be one of the world's most versatile drivers. In 2006, he scored podiums in the IndyCar Series, Grand-Am and A1GP, before switching to Roger Penske's ALMS squad for '07. Two overall wins there (three in class) and a fifth place for Luczo Dragon Racing in the Indy 500 earned him his call from the "The Captain."
One of his favorite racetracks is the Watkins Glen road course, which is where he scored his best IndyCar Series finish - third in 2006, for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.
