Famous worldwide for his great escape in a shunt during the GP2 race in France last year, Ernesto Viso not only was a recognized talent in that series, his credentials also include the U.S. Barber Formula Dodge East Championship, which he won in 2001. His oval-racing experience will be much appreciated by Keith Wiggins' team.
As the Spyker team's third driver at the 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix, Viso became the first Venezuelan in 22 years to drive a contemporary F1 car.
