Honda Serves as Single IndyCar Engine Supplier



Honda Performance Development (HPD), a subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., became the single provider of engines for the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series in 2006.
 
Honda driver Sam Hornish Jr. secured the Driver's Championship after winning the Indianapolis 500.
 
Honda driver and teen sensation Marco Andretti won the IRL Rookie of the Year.
